CRESSON, PA – Shawn Neiswonger recorded nine kills and Shelby Weber added eight kills but La Roche women's volleyball (6-25, 1-7) fell to conference-rival Mt. Alyosius (10-15, 4-4) 3-1 (25-18, 17-25, 20-25, 15-25) in Wednesday night action.

Emily Foust assisted on all but four of the Lady Redhawks' thirty-two kills. Brittany DeMeno led La Roche on defense with a season-high 13 digs and Weber tallied a season-high 12 digs. Marley Romano had three blocks in the loss.

La Roche women's volleyball will return to the Kerr Fitness Center on Saturday for their season finale against Medaille. The Mavericks are coming off of a 3-2 win over AMCC Conference opponent Penn State Behrend.
