MONACA, PA – La Roche Women's Volleyball (3-2) could not hang onto a 2-1 lead falling to Penn St. Beaver 3-2 in a non-conference game. Last season the Lady Redhawks won the season series against Penn St. Beaver 2-1.

Shelby Weber led La Roche with twelve kills and Marley Romano added eight kills. Courtney Stiner and Sammy Tuttle displayed strong defense with seven and six digs apiece. Emily Foust recorded a season-high 32 assists.

La Roche Women's Volleyball will return to action on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 7:00PM for a non-conference match against Carlow University.
