Alex Spain and Kaylee Zozos were named to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate All-Conference Team released today.
Spain, an All-Conference First Team selection in the outfield, led La Roche with 11 doubles and tied for the team-lead in RBI (27). She also finished the season ranked in the top 20 in batting average (.352) and tenth in the conference in putouts. Spain is the second consecutive freshman to make the conference's first-team.
Zozos, a Second Team selection at catcher, led the Lady Redhawks in batting average, hits, total bases, slugging percentage, and tied for the lead in home runs, RBI, and stolen bases. She also finished seventh in the AMCC in batting average (.411), seventh in hits (44), and ninth in on-base percentage (.457). Zozos displayed terrific defense all season and allowed just 25 runners to steal in conference play while throwing out a conference-best 10 base stealers.
