PITTSBURGH, pa -- La Roche College Softball (15-14, 7-9) lost both games of a double header to conference rival Penn State Altoona 7-5, 3-0. Starting pitcher Jessica Cullum (7-6) started Game 1 and went seven innings allowing seven runs (6 earned runs) on eleven hits. At the plate Cullum went 1 for 3 and drove in two runs. Second baseman Autum Hubert went 2 for 3 with two runs scored and center fielder Sydnie Martin had a run scored and an RBI. Pitcher Kara Jo Egelsky (8-7) started Game 2 and went seven strong innings allowing three runs on nine hits. Left fielder Cara Giannandrea went 2 for 3 in the loss. The Lady Redhawks will travel to Penn State Behrend on Thursday, April 28 for a 3:00PM start.
