PITTSBURGH, Pa. - La Roche women's basketball was the big winner when it came to the AMCC Postseason Awards, as the Redhawks collected three of the four major awards, while also nabbing three All-AMCC selections.
Entering the season, Dunn was a two-time All-AMCC selection and put together a career-best season for the Redhawks, leading to her first, First Team All-AMCC selection, while also being named the 2025-26 AMCC Women's Basketball Player of the Year.
She finishes the regular season averaging a career-high, 20.1 points, which currently sits T-8th in the AMCC record book and the first player to average 20+ since 2018-19.
Her 41.6% shooting sits 10th in the AMCC, while her 39.1% shooting from three is 2nd best, as is her 85% from the foul line.
Dunn's 4.9 assists leads the AMCC by a full assist per game, while she also contributed 5.4 rebounds and 2.8 steals (4th AMCC).
In AMCC play, Dunn averaged a league best, 20.2 points, shot 42.6% from the floor and 40% from three, while adding 5.8 rebounds and a league best 6.1 assists, also chipping in 2.9 steals per games.
In her first season as a full time starter, Kizart put together one of the more impressive defensive seasons in 2025-26 in recent years, earning herself AMCC Defensive Player of the Year and Second Team All-AMCC laurels.
Kizart is the only player in the AMCC to rank top 5 in rebounding, assists, steals and blocks in AMCC and full season play. Kizart put together an overall stat line of 10 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 4.6 steals and 0.8 blocks.
In AMCC play, her stat line reads, 12.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 5.6 steals and 0.9 blocks. Kizart enters the postseason with 116 steals, placing her 4th on he AMCC all-time single season steals list and its the most in a single season since 2017-18, also the 116 steals rank 3rd in NCAA DIII this season.
Her overall, 4.64 steals per game currently sits 3rd all-time in AMCC history, the highest per game output since 2006-07, and is 4th in all of NCAA DIII this season. Her 5.62 steals per game in AMCC play is likely a conference record.
In rebounding, she is 8th overall with her 7.0 and in AMCC play, her 8.4 rebounds sits T-5th. Assisting the ball, she finished at 3.5 per game (3rd AMCC) and her 4.4 in AMCC play was 2nd best. With blocks, her 0.8 overall per game and 19 total blocks both rank 5th, while her 0.9 in AMCC play is T-5th and her 14 blocks in AMCC play is also 5th.
Lastly, Kizart had the first triple-double by an AMCC player since Dec. 2012, a 21 point, 10 assist and 10 steal afternoon.
Kelly had a strong season in her first year as a Redhawk, earning herself Second Team All-AMCC accolades.
She finished the season T-7th in scoring with 14.4 points per game, while chipping in 5.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
Her 48.5% shooting from the field placed 2nd in the AMCC and led all guards in the category, while her 36.1% shooting from three was 4th best in the conference.
In AMCC play, Kelly averaged 16.1 points (5th), 5.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.7 steals, while shooting 48.2% from the field (4th) and 33.3% from three (T-8th).
Alexiss Griggs
In her first season at the helm of the Redhawks, Griggs earned herself AMCC Coach of the Year honors, as she led the Redhawks to a final record of 14-12 and 14-2 in AMCC play, including a trip to the AMCC Tournament Semifinal.
Griggs, coached a roster of single digits in her first season, one that saw just one returning, full-time starter and two players off the bench in 2024-25, keeping the Redhawks towards the top of the AMCC ladder.
