PITTSBURGH, Pa. - La Roche men's soccer bounced back after a pair of defeats on Saturday, doing so in a timely manner, kicking off AMCC play with a 3-0 shutout over Pitt-Bradford.
Abdul Basit Suleman scored what would be the game-winning goal just 6:28 into the contest, as his header found the aback of the net, assisted by Nico Manos.
A Panther red card at 17:26 would put the Redhawks up a man the remainder of the contest and a pair insurance goals came at 28:40, when Phillip Hawks connected with Anthony Valerio to move the red and white ahead 2-0, then the final goal of the game, also before the half, came off the foot of Christian Mushayuma at 43:06.
La Roche closes its three-game home stand on Tueday, Sept. 30, when they host Carlow at 5 p.m.
