GREENVILLE, Pa. - It was a long road for La Roche women's tennis, but the Redhawks finally prevailed, ending a 57 contest drought, defeating Thiel, 7-0 on Friday night.
La Roche took two of three doubles matches to open the contest, with Teresa Munoz Torrado/Danielle Dominick taking #1 doubles, 6-3, Finley Hohn/Klover Haberthier picking up a 6-0 shutout in #2 doubles.
The Redhawks went on to dominate singles play, as Torrado took #1 singles, 6-2, 6-1 and Danielle Dominick swept #2 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
Finley Hohn battled in #3 singles to a victorious 7-5, 7-6 (5), #4 singles was won by Briana Wynn at 6-2, 6-4, and Haberthier dominated #5 singles, 6-2, 6-0.
Paige Smith rounded out the night with a tiebreak victory, 2-6, 6-3, 10-2 in the tiebreak.
La Roche concludes the 2025 season on a high note and will be back in action in 2026.
