LATROBE, Pa. - La Roche women's tennis traveled to St. Vincent on Wednesday for a doubleheader, but in the end, fell to the Bearcats, 6-1, in both matches.
GAME ONE
Doubles play would go the way of the hosts, but in #1 doubles, Teresa Munoz Torrado and Danielle Dominick got the best of their opponents, winning, 6-3.
Singles play was highlighted by Danielle Dominick, who cruised to victory, with a 6-0, 6-1 sweep in #2 singles.
GAME TWO
Doubles play again went to St. Vincent again, this time sweeping the Redhawks in all three matches.
Danielle Dominick again coasted to victory, this time in #1 singles, 6-0, 6-0, sweeping the day, while Torrado in #2 singles battled in defeat, 6-3, 6-1.
The final match of the fall for the ladies is on Friday, Oct. 10 when the Redhawks travel to Thiel.
