ALTOONA, Pa. - La Roche women's tennis traveled to Altoona on Friday to take on Penn State Altoona, but in the end, it was the Lions coming out on top, 6-1.
Doubles play would go the way of the hosts, but both #1 doubles and #2 doubles were really good matches, ending 6-3 and 6-3 respectively.
Singles play was once again highlighted by Danielle Dominick, who came through with a 6-4, 6-2 victory, improving to 2-1 in AMCC play and 4-1 overall on the season.
In #1 singles, Teresa Munoz Torrado battled tough in game one, falling 6-4, 6-0, while Klover Haberthier earned two games in her match and Finley Hohn got one.
Next up for the Redhawks in Penn State Behrend, travelling to Erie on Sunday, Sept. 28.
