Redhawks Dominate from Start to Finish, 78–38 at Hilbert

HAMBURG, NY — The La Roche women's basketball team delivered a commanding performance Saturday afternoon, cruising to a 78–38 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference victory at the Brad Hafner Recreation Center. La Roche controlled every facet of the game and extended its win streak in league play with a comprehensive road triumph.

La Roche came out assertively right from the opening tip, racing to a lead it would never relinquish. The Redhawks' offense flowed with balance and efficiency as they built early momentum. Behind strong outside shooting and aggressive scoring in the paint, La Roche led 16–11 after one quarter and steadily increased its advantage with each passing period.

By halftime, La Roche had begun to pull away, outscoring Hilbert in the second quarter and taking a commanding 34–17 lead into the break. The Redhawks' pressure defense caused turnovers and created transition opportunities that they consistently converted into points.

The second half saw La Roche's dominance magnify. The Redhawks overwhelmed the Hawks on both ends — pushing the lead well into the double digits and maintaining it throughout the third and fourth quarters. La Roche's scoring attack was balanced and relentless, while Hilbert struggled to find rhythm against a suffocating defensive effort.

La Roche closed the game with one of its most complete performances of the season, spotlighting its depth and efficiency. The Redhawks shot over 40% from the field and held Hilbert to under 30% shooting, a difference in execution that defined the final margin.
