Andrew Bott serves as the Associate Athletic Director at La Roche University, where he acts as a principal architect of operational excellence and long-term strategic growth. Navigating the intricate landscape of an NCAA Division III environment, Andrew’s work is defined by a deep commitment to the student-athlete lifecycle, ensuring that every administrative decision centers on engagement and building the collaborative partnerships necessary to elevate the profile of the entire athletics program. His comprehensive oversight includes the management of the university’s athletic master calendar, encompassing practices, game days, and summer camps, across four distinct on-campus facilities.

Central to Andrew’s professional philosophy is a firm belief in focusing on the development of leadership skills within student-athletes. He views the collegiate athletic experience as a vital platform for growth, where students can learn to use leadership to create positive change and foster effective teamwork. This dedication to "big picture" thinking ensures that student-athletes graduate with the tools necessary for success far beyond the field of play.

Bott’s journey at La Roche is marked by a steady ascent through the ranks, having previously served as the Assistant Athletic Director where he managed facility work orders and departmental operating budgets. During his tenure within the department, he has been a key contributor to an era of unprecedented competitive success, supporting Redhawk programs that have secured 30 AMCC Championships and made 25 NCAA Tournament appearances. His operational expertise was further forged during his time as the Athletic Facilities Manager, a period during which he hosted sixteen conference tournaments and expanded the game-day operations staff from eight to twenty-four student workers. Beyond the logistics of scheduling officials and facilitating visiting team contracts, Andrew has been instrumental in developing departmental emergency plans and safety procedures to meet both university and NCAA standards.

A dedicated educator and mentor, Bott has also served as a member of the Adjunct Faculty since 2021. Andrew’s leadership extends directly to the field of competition as the Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Coach, where he applies his passion of physical fitness and healthy living to the program. This coaching role complements his previous seven-year tenure as the Associate Head Basketball Coach, during which he focused on athletic recruitment and player development. A proud alumnus of La Roche University, Andrew holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He resides in the Pittsburgh area with his wife, Michelle, and two children Christian and Natalia.
