David Day is in his ninth season as head coach of the La Roche College Redhawks Men’s Soccer program. He has the led the team to eight consecutive AMCC playoff appearances and the programs first ECAC birth in 2012. He has led La Roched to two straight AMCC Tournament Semifinal appearances and under Coach Day, the Redhawks have an AMCC record of 46-24-5 and are 77-72-6 overall.
Day grew up in Cambridge, England where he played for numerous club and school teams, including tournaments in Holland and Germany. He holds several NSCAA coaching certifications. He has previously coached at McKeesport High School and with the National Youth Sports Program (NYSP).
Day obtained his master’s degree in Education with a focus in Higher Education Management from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 and his bachelor’s in Speech Communication from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1999. He lives in Glenshaw with his wife Melissa and two daughters.
