KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Awards continued to come in for La Roche Men's Soccer on Tuesday, as senior forward, Malvin Madzimbamuto, was named Second Team All-Region VII, announced by United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday.
Madzimbamuto becomes just the second United Soccer Coaches All-Region selection in Redhawk history, first awarded to Bryan Weimerskirch in 2014. Madzimbamuto does hold the distinction of being the highest placed All-Region selection, surpassing Weimerskirch's Third Team honor.
Madzimbamuto was the key piece of the La Roche offense in 2025 as he recently earned First Team All-AMCC honors, the first Redhawk to do so since Pedro Ansede in 2017.
He put together a senior season that included nine goals (T-3rd AMCC), three assists and 21 points (T-5th AMCC), while taking 49 shots, the second most in the conference.
In AMCC play, Madzimbamuto scored four goals (T-4th AMCC) and added a pair of assists for 10 points (T-6th AMCC). Madzimbamuto was also twice named the AMCC Offensive Player of the Week.
