PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The La Roche Men's Soccer team saw its historic, 2025 season, come to a close on Saturday afternoon, falling to Williams College, 4-0, in the NCAA Tournament's First Round.
Unfortunately, all the scoring went the way of the #2 seed in the Scranton Region of the bracket, with all four goals being scored in the first half.
No matter the result, La Roche Men's Soccer put together a storybook season. The Redhawks brought home the elusive first AMCC Tournament Championship, hosted the AMCC Championship Game and won 10 games for just the fifth time in history.
Overall, La Roche finished with the fewest losses in a single season (5), its second best winning percentage (.632), fewest goals allowed (16) and most shutouts (8).
The Redhawks return a load of talent in 2026, including at least eight of 11 starters, including AMCC Newcomer of the Year, Abdul Basit Suleman and goalkeeper, Maddox Anderson, who led the AMCC in every statistical category.
