NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. - Fresh off an AMCC Tournament Championship, the awards continued to pile up for La Roche men's soccer, as five members of the squad earned All-AMCC honors, announced by the conference on Tuesday.
ABDUL BASIT SULEMAN
Suleman made an immediate impact for La Roche in his freshman campaign and proved to be a threat for the coming years, earned AMCC Newcomer of the Year and Third Team All-AMCC honors.
He ended the season with four goals, scoring three of those four goals in conference play, including one game-winning goal in a victory over Pitt-Bradford.
Suleman's .533 shot on goal% was the 12th best in the AMCC for players who had double-digit shots in conference play and his .200 shot percentage was T-8th in the AMCC for those with double digit shots in conference action.
In the postseason, Suleman scored both goals in the 1-0 victories over Alfred State in the semifinals and Mt. Aloysius in the championship game.
Suleman is the first La Roche men's soccer player to earn AMCC Newcomer of the Year since 2011, when 2025 La Roche Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee, Bryan Weimerskirch earned the honor.
He joins Phillip Hawkins as the first Redhawk freshmen midfielders to named All-AMCC since 2015.
MALVIN MADZIMBAMUTO
Madzimbamuto was the key piece of the La Roche offense in 2025 as he earned his first All-AMCC selection, bringing home First Team honors, the first Redhawk to do so since Pedro Ansede in 2017.
He put together a senior season that included nine goals (T-3rd AMCC) and three assists and 21 points (T-5th AMCC), while taking 49 shots, the second most in the conference.
In AMCC play, Madzimbamuto scored four goals (T-4th AMCC) and added a pair of assists for 10 points (T-6th AMCC). Madzimbamuto was also twice named the AMCC Offensive Player of the Week.
MADDOX ANDERSON
Anderson was arguably the best goalkeeper in the AMCC and his stellar numbers placed him on the All-AMCC Second Team.
Anderson is the first Redhawk goalkeeper to earn an All-Conference selection since 2004, when Cory Baird was named Third Team All-AMCC. He is also the highest placed goalkeeper in La Roche history on an All-AMCC list.
Anderson finished the regular season with a 7-2-4 overall record and a 5-1-2 mark in AMCC play, posting six shoutouts and four in conference play. Anderson ended the season as the AMCC leader overall in save percentage (.796), goals against average (0.76) and T-1st in fewest goals allowed (10). In conference play, Anderson led the AMCC in save percentage (.778) by 0.56 points and shutouts (4), while allowing just six goals.
In the postseason, Anderson posted two more shutouts and stopped all eight shots he faced.
NIKO MANOS
Manos was the leader of the La Roche defense in 2025, as the captain led the Redhawks to their best season in years and placed himself on the All-AMCC Second Team.
Manos is the first Redhawk defender since 2018 to make All-Conference and the highest placed defender since Dylan Weyand earn First Team laurels in 2016.
Manos played a key role in a defense that had six total shutouts and four in conference play. Manos was also noticeable on the offensive end, scoring a pair of goals and adding a pair of assists to his season scoresheet.
PHILLIP HAWKINS
Hawkins was one of multiple freshman that were huge pieces of the Redhawks offense and he earned himself Second Team All-AMCC laurels in his first season.
Hawkins is the first Redhawk midfielder since 2019 to earn All-AMCC honors and the highest placed Redhawk since Joaquin Vicent Franch earned Second Team in 2018.
Hawkins is also the first freshman midfielder since Franch in 2015 to become an All-Conference selection.
On the year, he scored three goals and added three assists for nine points, including a goal and an assist in AMCC play. His goal was a game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Pitt-Greensburg on the road.
