Illerbrun attended Kane Area High School where he was a three-sport standout.
Illerbrun was a four-year letter winner in soccer, where he was twice a District 9 team semifinalist, a member of the Elk All-Tournament Team, 2024 UAVSL North League All-Star and was named MVP.
Illerbrun was also a four-year letter winner in track & field, earning Gold in the District 9 4x800m relay and Silver in the District 9 4x400m relay as a sophomore. As a junior, Illerbrun earned Bronze in the District 9, 800m event and holds one of Kane Area's best times in the 800m.
Illerbrun also finished as runner-up in his weight class in District 9 wrestling as a freshman.

Illerbrun is the son of Justin Illerbrun and Amber Boeckmann. He has two siblings, Hayleigh and Dillon.
Illerbrun is pursuing a degree in radiology.
