Redhawks Drop Road Match To Earlham

Redhawks Drop Road Match To Earlham

RICHMOND, Ind. - La Roche endured a challenging outing in a 20–0 loss to Earlham, as the Redhawks continued to search for momentum in a tough stretch of the season.

Earlham controlled the game from the opening faceoff, scoring seven first-quarter goals to quickly build separation. La Roche struggled to gain possession early, facing heavy pressure and a high shot volume that kept the defense on its heels.

The second quarter followed a similar pattern, with Earlham adding another seven goals to take a 14–0 lead into halftime. Despite the scoreline, La Roche's defense continued to battle, and goalkeeper Calvin Rowland made key saves throughout the half to limit further damage.

La Roche showed more offensive initiative in the middle quarters, generating 17 total shots in the game, including multiple attempts from Goran Miloradovic and Stephan Mescan. However, the Redhawks were unable to break through against Earlham's rotating goalkeepers.

In the second half, La Roche continued to compete, particularly in the third quarter where they created opportunities and forced turnovers. Still, Earlham maintained control, adding three goals in both the third and fourth quarters to close out the scoring.
