STEUBENVILLE, Ohio - The La Roche University men's lacrosse team fell on the road Wednesday night, dropping a 24–0 decision to Franciscan.

Franciscan jumped out to an early lead with six goals in the opening quarter and continued to build momentum throughout the game, adding eight goals in both the second and third periods.

La Roche generated 12 shots in the contest, led by Goran Miloradovic with six attempts and Lebron James with three. Hunter Augustine controlled the faceoff circle for the Redhawks, winning seven draws while also collecting a team-high eight ground balls.

In goal, Calvin Rowland played all 60 minutes and recorded 12 saves against 36 shots on target.

Franciscan was led by James Masso, who finished with five goals and nine assists, as the hosts totaled 57 shots and controlled the pace throughout the night.

La Roche will look to regroup as the Redhawks continue their early-season schedule.
