McCANDLESS, Pa. - The La Roche Unviversity Athletic Department announced senior Devin Wolford (Allison Park, PA/Hampton) of the men's lacrosse team as the "Student-Athlete of the Week" for the week of March 15 to March 21st. Devin is the first student-athlete to win the award in over a year and it is his first time receiving the honor. During the 2019-20 season, he was named an AMCC Athlete of the Week.

In two games last week, Wolford scored five goals and tallied two assists for a total of seven points (team-high). In game one (3/17) at Hiram, Wolford scored a goal and added two assists to help the Redhawks win their season opener, 10-3. In the second game of the week (3/20) vs. Mt. Saint Joseph, Wolford tied his career-high with four goals in a tough 7-6 loss.
