Q&A

Favorite memory at La Roche? "My favorite memory is when our coaches threw a block party in the locker room and Coach Nicole brought her puppy too."

Favorite sports moment? "Winning for the first time at home in 4 years against Franciscan this year."

What has your time at La Roche meant to you? "La Roche has helped me become a better person these last 4 years in more ways than I can count. It has brought me a new family through a sport I never knew I would play and another through the sport I knew that I would be playing. La Roche has given me the opportunities and experiences that I wouldn't trade the world for. The close-knit culture of the University helped me to really learn in the classroom and make friends for the rest of my life."

What are your future plans? "I plan on becoming a Naval Officer and eventually make my way towards the Secret Service and FBI."

Who has supported you during your time as a student-athlete? "My coaches have always supported me as a student-athlete. I would like to thank Coach Wilfong for an amazing time with him this season, and for his constant support of me and love of the sport and team. To Coach Lisa, you were my biggest fan and your positivity and motivation to do the best for the team will always stay with me. And to my volleyball coaches, Coaches Nicole and Shelby, you have been the most supportive and uplifting people during my whole college career. You two stood beside me whether it be school, volleyball or personal. I will truly miss spending every day with you guys. Lastly, my teammates, all who were my most constant supporters. To my volleyball girls; you girls  were never ending in your support and love of me and I will always cherish the relationships I built with all of you. To my lax girls; although our time together was very short, you girls gave me another family that I just absolutely loved playing and practicing with. To my lax guys; out of every team I played on you were my most supportive. You guys took me in as someone who had never played lacrosse and as a girl. You made me feel like I was always a part of the team, one of the boys. I thank all of you for standing by my side all these years and I will miss all of you dearly."
