NEW CASTLE, PA -- The La Roche College golf team placed sixth at this afternoon's Westminster Golf Invitational at New Castle Country Club. Saint Vincent edged Grove City on a tie-breaker to earn the team title. Kent State's Jordan Dellilo shot a 77 to win the individual prize.

Four AMCC teams participated in the tournament with just six strokes separating the group (Mt. Aloysius, Pitt-Bradford, La Roche, Pitt-Greensburg).

Pat McCall guided the Redhawks with an 81 to tie for eighth overall and earn his second top 10 finish of the season.

David Wilson and Tyler Booher put in quality rounds. Wilson carded an 83 and tied for twenty-second while  Booher had an 84 and tied for twenty-sixth. Kordell Collins helped La Roche outpace Pitt-Greensburg by a stroke with his 91. John Dickson shot 100.

The Redhawks enter the home stretch of their season. They will travel to Penn State Behrend next Monday in their final tuneup before the conference championship.
