Volleyball Converts 80% of their Assists in Loss to Carlow

PITTSBURGH, PA – La Roche women's volleyball (6-23) assisted on 80% of their kills but could not put together enough offense as they fell to NAIA opponent Carlow University (7-17) 3-0 (15-25, 13-25, 14-25) in non-conference action on Thursday night.

Emily Foust led the host Lady Redhawks with eight assists and seven digs and Shawn Neiswonger added five kills.

The La Roche College Volleyball team will be hosting their Dig Pink Volleyball Game on Saturday, October 22 at 1:00PM when they play Pitt-Bradford.

The Lady Redhawks will give away prizes to the first twenty-five individuals wearing pink including a $100 gift card.

"Fight Like a Girl" t-shirts and La Roche College Volleyball shirts will be available for purchase.

All proceeds benefit The Side-Out Foundation which awards grants to medical research organizations dedicated to providing support to breast cancer patients and their families.

All fans are encouraged to wear pink!
