PITTSBURGH, pa -- La Roche Men's Soccer (0-8) could not overcome a two-goal halftime deficit losing to visiting Washington and Jefferson (4-1-1) 2-0 at Redhawks' Field. The Presidents got on the board in the 6th minute when Stephen Bosak buried a Sean Maddock pass. Turner Anderson scored on a penalty kick in the last minute of the first half to give Washington and Jefferson a two goal advantage. Despite the loss, the Redhawks got twelve shots on goal including three a piece by Mitchell Diven and John Mancuso. La Roche goalkeeper Michael Brunozzi made a game high 14 saves in the loss. La Roche Men's Soccer will open AMCC play at Redhawks' Field on Saturday, September 25 at 3:00PM against Penn State Behrend.
